My sales team has received disturbing reports from prospective clients who are told that "Website Forge templates are bad" by some of our competitors.

They claim that they look the same. They are told they are unreliable and worse... They are told that if they purchase a Website Forge site they will never be found in the Search Engines.

I think it is time to set the record straight. For someone to relate templates to search engine marketing is no different than a car salesman saying "That car has ABS brakes -- that means the windshield wipers won't work". Sounds silly right?

It sounds silly because most consumers know more about cars than they do about web sites.

Hi everyone...Isn't it amazing how competitor's do not offer the features and benefits of their products to potential customers. They prefer to slam their competitors by making outlandish claims. One of the nice features of the Website Forge system is the inablity to copy it or view the source code from a browser. Also, the various programs out there that will download your entire site and strip it of the text and graphics do not work. This in itself is a tremendous benefit. So if you can't view the source code how can you determine if a website template is faulty????????

As for the inability to be found by the search engines. I have to say'"BS". I have optimized our entire website myself and do well in the search engines. I did the optimization of our site first, because I am one of those guys that just have to understand how things work. After discussion with a few other website owner's and upon hearing the excellent results they are achieving, I recently contracted with SEO pro Kevin Gannon at Netcorp Inc to direct me in the optimization process. This will enable me to concentrate on other aspects of the business.

PS-Shane....Please let the inner geek out!!! We want to hear more tidbits of wisdom. You and your organization have earned my trust and that is not easily achieved. I trust but verify everything. Like many of you "once bitten, twice shy". There are just to many scams out there being perpetrated by people of no conscience to make a fast buck. Website Forge has always done what they say they are going to do. That speaks volumes.......

I bought my Web-Stie from you over a year ago, and took several months before publishing, to do the work (a feature other providers don't usually give you). As you know, but others don't, I sell a very direct service, event entertainment services. I believe it is harder to sell a single service then say an e-commerece site that may sell several services or items. I have had my site published now for less than a year and while it may be a low number for some sites, in the past two months have had roughly 20,000 hits, just using your advice and the training given by your well trained staff.

While it is true I now use Google Adwords advertising, in that same past two months have only spent a bit over $100 and have brought loads of traffic to my site. A web-site is a bit like a canvas, depends what is painted on it and how it is presented. Website Forge supplies the canvas, and tools to make the clients site to be whatever they want it to be.

Even before I began advertising, which can be compaired to watering your garden, the more care you the individual business owner puts into it, the better it gets; I was easily found by the major search bots. Even for my specialty service business, limited as it is, I am getting results.

I have multipal competitors that spend many times more than I do for a website designer, when in fact you still have to provide the text, or content of want is said on your site and any photo's you want, with directions on what is to go where. In the short time I have had my site with Website Forge, I have saved 2/3rds of the cost one of my best friends and competitors have spent on their sites.
