Organic Search Results
VS
Paid Ad Results
When a search engine such as Google or Bing returns its search results, it gives you two types: organic and paid. Organic search results are the Web page listings that most closely match the user's search query based on relevance. Also called “natural” search results, ranking high in the organic results is what SEO is all about. To my surprise many people are not aware of what the difference is between being ranked organically and paying for your rank. So I wanted to give some examples here and talk about ways to start ranking better organically (Free) using our awesome WebsiteForge tools 😁.
Paid results are basically advertisements. The images above illustrate the visual differences on a search page when you rank organically and when you pay for Ad space. Let's talk about paying for a space first.
This option can really vary depending on what time of day you want to show up, what your audience is, what keywords you want to show up for etc... I've seen clients pay $10 a day for a space and they felt they got what they needed out of that. I've seen clients pay $10,000 a day to get the traffic they felt they needed. Every situation is different, the competition for every area is different.
So let's get to the Organic end of the conversation.
