Increase Conversions with Product Reviews (And for Info sites use BLOG REVIEWS!)

The stats

  • According to several online stats, 50 or more reviews per product can mean a 4.6% increase in conversion rates.
  • 79% Of Consumers Trust Online Reviews As Much As Personal Recommendations
  • 63% of customers are more likely to make a purchase from a site which has user reviews. (iPerceptions).
  • Site visitors who interact with both reviews and customer questions and answers are 105% more likely to purchase while visiting, and spend 11% more than visitors who don't interact with UGC. (Bazaarvoice, Conversation Index).
  • Consumer reviews are significantly more trusted (nearly 12 times more) than descriptions that come from manufacturers, according to a survey of US internet users by online video review site EXPO. (eMarketer).
  • According to many online sources, reviews produce an average 18% uplift in sales.

Did you know that your WebsiteForge website already has a built in feature for you to use product reviews?  See these videos on adding reviews to your site.

If you have an information website and you would like to get more leads off of your site for your services.  Blogging about your services and allowing people to review those blogs can do the same thing for you!  (I also strongly recommend putting testimonials up about your services and products) Here is a helpful video about blog reviews.

Have you ever emailed a client post purchase and asked for a review?

Contact Support if you would like assistance in setting this up.

I completely agree, reviews on products are great and trusted by customers. Blog reviews are also good to create a dialog with your visitors I use both of them. Great post Mandi.
