Suggestion: Pleas add a feature to allow "includes" in web pages. This will be a library of includeable content that can be inserted anywhere by reference. This way, if you change the library to changes get propogated throughout the site where that content is included.

This is really a must have feature, because it is very unproductive to have duplicate content throughout a site. Changes become very difficult and there is MUCH room for error.

The Frame clipboard is ok, but only allows ONE instance.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE "include" this feature. Thanks!

Hi Jim. You can do this now. Copy a frame on ANY page and then use PASTE BY REFERENCE. You can paste it over and over on any page and as many times as you wish.

Then if you change ANY of the frames, they will all change simultaneously.

Ok... here is one for you that I think everyone may appreciate.

What about a feature that allows people whom are surfing though classified ads to be able to report offensive and/or vulgar content in an ad to the site administrator. You already have the ability to email the ad owner... but what about adding a "Report Abuse" or "Offensive Content" option as well so that the specific ad (or ad number) is forwarded to the Site admin along with the comments from the person who reported the offense. This way the site admin can quickly rectify the situation.

An example you can look at would be found on a popular listing service "Craigslist.com"--> http://tucson.craigslist.org/pts/323762512.html toward the top you will see a line of reporting options "please flag with care : [miscategorized] [prohibited] [spam] [discussion] [best of]" Can there be anything like this... maybe not as "many" options, but at least the ability to report the ad?

It would be nice to have an additional option in the shopping cart that shows an "out of stock message" but allows a customer to place an item on backorder. We then could email the customer with the product lead time. As it is now, we have the option to "sell anyway" but this functions does not inform the customer of the "out of stock" status and misleads the customer regarding inventory status. If the shopping cart is set to show the "out of stock message" the customer cannot purchase the product from our store and moves on to someone else.

Another feature that would be nice is the ability to link the images in the advanced image gallery to product category pages instead of just the product image displayed. I have text links to the left of these images which will take the customers to the product category but I have noticed that in the site stats alot of customers are clicking on the images first and then clicking the links.

Jerry, this is already possible... You actually already had it partially set up. Just needed a few strokes to get it to work the way you need:

1) I went to you Advanced Gallery m9 module. Picked Image Fields section. Then renamed the "Link to" field -> "Link to Category Page". This was an UNnecessary step, just to make this field title better reflect what it does in your specific context.

2) Then I adjusted the "Frame 1 (New Module:Item List)" on your home page (the one that shows the Images from the Gallery). I changed the settings to as follows:
* Upon "Link to Details" Click = Redirect According to Image Field (I agree the option is a little confusing, I'll probably have it renamed to "Redirect to URL Taken from Field)
* Then the secondary dropdown left = Link to Category Page (actually you can't change it in your specific example because "Link to Category Page" is the only field of the "Attached File/URL" file that your images have)
* In the table below (where all image fields are listed) I checked for Image in the third column (entitled "Include/Link to Details") the SECOND checkbox. This very checkbox is telling the system this field (Image) will be a clickable link.

3) Now I went back to Advanced Gallery m9 module. To the Images section this time. I edited the first image (Title="HDTV LCD TV") to as follows:
Link to Category Page/Link Title = Flat Panel LCD TVs
Link to Category Page/URL = http://www.partsguysusa.com/81.html (you know what I mean, this is the page the Description of this item is link to).

Then I re-previewed the site: http://www.partsguysusa.com/preview/. See now you can click on thumbnail of the first image just like you can on the links left to it? :)

WHAT'S LEFT TO BE DONE TO COMPLETE YOUR MISSION:

4) Edit "Link to Category Page" for the rest of your items in Advanced Gallery module (luckily shouldn't be tough since you have like 21 item)

5) Publish the site to move the changes live.

FINAL NOTE: Currently, the hint for the thumbnails reads just like image titles. With the new linking scheme, I think it would make more sense to have image hints display CATEGORY DESCRIPTION. This is not possible technically right now, but we are considering adding option. What I'm getting at is, type in proper text in Link Title sub-field for all your existing items. Though these won't show up now, they will do once we add that option.

Hi Shane and Andy, There are many members/ counselors of mine in m15 who do not upload a photo of themselves when they sign up. This leaves the list view page looking akward when some members have a thumbnail photo and some don't. I'd like a way for the system to be able to set a photo as a deafult photo to be used in all listings until the member uploads their own photo to their own listing. Thanks for considering the idea, Noah :)
